"The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasing, with a comfortable, air-conditioned setting that made it enjoyable to have lunch or dinner. While the food they offered was average in terms of taste, the highlight was undoubtedly the lunch set they provided. This set included a serving of mushroom soup, a small bread roll with butter, free-flow drinks, a choice of main dish, and a serving of ice cream. The lunch set represented good value for the price, making it a worthwhile option for diners. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the service provided by the waitstaff was excellent. The attentive and professional service from the waitresses greatly enhanced the dining experience, adding to the overall satisfaction of patrons. However, it is important to note a drawback experienced during the visit, which was the noticeable cigarette smell in the restaurant while having lunch. It is my hope that the restaurant management takes note of this issue and makes efforts to improve and eliminate such odors, as it can significantly impact the dining experience for non-smoking customers."

"The best lunch set in Brickfields. Used to be called the Railway Recreation Club or RRC. Serves up superb Asian and Western set lunch which come with a side of bread, soup and also ice cream at the end of the meal. Super duper value for money. Asian sets are RM19 nett. Western sets are RM21 nett. The most famous set is the grilled lamb chops. Portion is huge. Pair them with the mint sauce and you're in heaven. Basement parking available in the building at the end of the road."
